This alarm interconnects with up to 24 devices (of which 18 can be initiation) including smoke alarms, CO alarms and heat alarms on one wiring network. The KN-COB-IC includes a 9V battery backup along with a 10-year limited warranty. 10-Year Life: “If your CO alarm was manufactured prior to 2013, it does not have a 10 year life.
